Project Description

Astro is an emerging beginner-friendly JavaScript framework that allows us to create content-based websites like blogs and documentation websites. Combining Astro with an API tool like GraphQL and a CMS like Hygraph can help us build a scalable and easy-to-maintain blog site.

In this project, we’ll use Astro, Hygraph, and GraphQL to build a powerful, SEO-optimized blog. The content will be sourced from Hygraph CMS, and we’ll use GraphQL to query the content and display it on our blog. We’ll use Marked and Highlight.js to highlight the code snippets in our blog posts and Astro Sitemaps to generate sitemaps for our blog for better optimization.

The final version of the blog will contain posts and their text, syntax highlighting for code snippets, and a Hygraph account where we can manage our existing blog posts and create new ones.
