Interesting Experiments

You can get a firm grasp on your knowledge and understanding by thinking about the interesting experiments in this lesson!

  1. Analyze the application you are currently working on and identify several individual tasks that the code is performing.

  2. Evaluate the latency and throughput needs of each task, along with parallelization, duration, and session constraints. Identify tasks that would be suited for running as Lambda functions.

  3. List the minimum security requirements for selected tasks and compare them with the access rights that they have in your current application.

  4. Try estimating the cost of running those tasks in AWS Lambda.

Brace yourself for a quiz in the next lesson!

In the next chapter, you will get hands-on practice with AWS Lambda by creating a web service. Stay tuned!
