AWS services for data governance

AWS provides us with various services that are used for data governance. Some of them are:

• AWS IAM (Identity and Access Management): AWS IAM manages access control to AWS resources, ensuring that users and applications only access the data they are authorized to.

• AWS Lake Formation: This service simplifies setting up a secure data lake. It helps govern access to raw data, manage permissions, and enforce data privacy policies.

• Amazon Macie: This service helps discover and protect sensitive data using machine learning.

• AWS CloudTrail: This service provides logs of AWS service API calls, which we use to monitor user activity and ensure compliance with governance policies.

• AWS Glue: This is a managed ETL service that allows for data cataloging, transformation, and quality checks.
