Final Remarks
Final remarks on completing this course.
We'll cover the following
Summary
We started our journey with the origin of DNA replication and the hidden messages in the origin. We moved on and attempted to find DnaA boxes in E. Coli. We learned about De Bruijn graphs and Euler’s theorem along the path to assembling genomes. Finally, we learned how to compare biological sequences since such comparisons can help us better understand how various species are related and what their distinguishing features are at a gene level.
Where to go from here
As with almost every application of human life, machine learning has also found its way into bioinformatics. It helps with the interpretation of the vast amounts of data being gathered by genomic research and could lead to the discovery of patterns that would otherwise remain hidden. That might be a good place to head from here.
Final words
Congratulations! You’re at the end of your journey with us in this course. With that said, we hope you have a good understanding of Bioinformatics Algorithms after completing this course.
Finally, thank you for taking this course. But the Bioinformatics journey doesn’t end here. There’s much more out there, so stay motivated and keep exploring. Good luck on your journey ahead.
